Rahu-ketu are not real planets but shades. Rahu is the head of the serpent and ketu is the tail. In every horoscope they will be place exactly six houses apart. For example if rahu is in simha rashi , kethu will be at Kumbha rashi. Ketu is the significator of maternal grand father, dog, cough, leprosy, wounds etc.,
